hi pedro….sure, panda cloud is a revolution. Since last one months I was being troubled by trozans. I also faced a time where my browser( e-explorer) and antivirus (avast) both were deleted because of a trozan. I was not able to plug in my net connection. I had a free trial version of quick heal but it too failed to initialize ( coz my system files were infected) , then came “cloud” in rescue. My system is fine now. Thanks!

  10. November 20th, 2009 at 13:20 | #10

Congratulations for the software. Really great AV.

Does Panda Cloud require an internet connection to function?

Reason I am wondering, is when I’m away from home using my laptop,
using wireless where there may not be internet connectivity,
unless I’m at a hotel or something, and even then you don’t know,

so I’m just wondering, will Panda Cloud function without an internet connection?

    Gefeliciteerd met het behaalde resultaat!
Als betatester heb ik, na het programma langdurig en uitvoerig getest te hebben op meerdere computers, goede ervaringen met dit anti-virusprogramma.

Been using Panda Cloud for some time but just now discovering its well-deserved Editor’s Choice Award & other positive recognition around the web. Bravo, Panda People! But I already found this to be an exceptional security app. My ‘Avast” got hacked so it had to go; left behind a great mess. After using numerous security apps, I’m perfectly happy with my Cloud & Comodo & SpywareBlaster.

Panda Cloud is amazingly effective for a program so simple to setup (actually, there is no set up, is there?;-) Also prior to learning of the Award, I’d just recommended it via email to a number of good friends whom I know for fact, detest time-consuming, complex set-ups–not to mention the daily database downloads (really adds up).

I think of Panda Cloud AV as the mother of no-brainer apps—Panda did all the work; we sit back & enjoy peace of mind. One more note: Panda Cloud is undoubtedly THE lightest on resources of any AV I’ve used. Really, as it runs 24×7, you don’t even notice it’s there. You’ve raised the bar. EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCT!

Before i use this free antivirus, my computer performance is very slow, especially at starting point. For info, i already use the ‘popular’ free antivirus, but unfourtunately, performance still out. Yesterday, for the 1st time i try to use Panda free antivirus. The result is very very very good antivirus. Thanks Panda!

Panda Cloud is indeed an outstanding AV. Well done!

    Many thanks!

  22. November 27th, 2009 at 00:22 | #22

You better think about not to cancel protection when doing upgrades, till user not registered (new feature!?)
It’s stupid to go outside with disabled antivir.

I uninstalled Cloud (Panda) from the computer and I installed the latest version. After e-mail address and password were given the program does not recognize my e-mail address or password so Cloud AV is not installed.
How do I fix it? I keep getting a pop-up box asking for my username and password.

    December 7th, 2009 at 16:18 | #36

Does panda cloud antivirus include a real-time protection like avast, avira, and avg???

  37. December 7th, 2009 at 17:09 | #37

@Ernzzz Absolutely, Panda Cloud Antivirus is a full AV with real-time protection just like any other AV.

  38. December 13th, 2009 at 19:06 | #38

yeah, but the only thing I don’t like about it,
is the Cloud Antivirus has no advanced options
to allow certain programs that I know are safe, to run.

I’ve been having problems with this antivirus program
blocking both my Window Eyes, and Zoomtext screen readers
from running. I am a blind user, and I need my screen readers
to function, and its annoying because there are no advanced
options to allow them to run.

  39. December 13th, 2009 at 23:27 | #39

@bubazoo We are incorporating advanced configuration with exclusions for version 1.1. Regarding your programs, I just responded to your post in the support forum. Please check it for details on how to get them back.

Great AV Man… Wat a performance…!!! I have been a fan of Panda Titanium and Platinum Antiviruses… They rescued my system once, wen it was drowning in viruses… But now started using this Cloud version… Undoubtedly great…

Just wanted to know, are the virus definitions saved on the system? If not how its detecting when the system is not connected to internet??

  41. Kajin
    December 16th, 2009 at 14:14 | #41

Hey @Edward Jones try using the free software Revo Uninstaller to remove the softwares u dont want from ue system…

  42. December 16th, 2009 at 17:16 | #42

@Kajin The virus definitions are basically queries to the cloud (Collective Intelligence). However Panda Cloud Antivirus holds some definitions locally for offline operation. More details here:

    Hi Pedro Bustamani,

I’m currently using Avast 5 beta right now, and I’ve heard a lot about Panda Cloud AV. Is PCAV better than Avast? Is it better overall?

  44. December 17th, 2009 at 14:12 | #44

@Icedrake Of course we think Panda is better :) Avast is a good product, as well as other AVs out there. I think you need to try it out and see which one you like better :)

Panda Cloud Antivirus v1.0 Mak nyus…..

  48. Tommy
    December 19th, 2009 at 09:30 | #48

Cobalah sendiri.

    @Edward Jones
There is a portable apps “AppRemover” (www.appremover.com) specialized in removing security related apps. I’m not sure if the last version already supports Panda Cloud AntiVirus. Because it doesn’t need installation, I sugest that you try to use it to uninstall the Panda Cloud AV.
    Best regards

Will Panda Cloud Antivirus proactively detect invading viruses if, say someone visits a virus-infested website? Would it alert the user when a virus is trying to install itself on the computer?
